After a full 10 month of chemo almost 11 next Tuesday I am finally trying to get back into flying by myself but I tire very easy. Today I clean out the down stair bathroom closet and clean the bathroom and swept the family room. I did a very good dusting so I can simply fly like before. I am going to take one step at a time in hope that I can again be flying. Even if it only another week. Miss seeing you ladies
Here are the details for our 27 Fling Boogie Challenge: We are going to see who can do the most 27 Fling Boogies between April 19th and May 16th. For those of you are are unfamiliar with the process it is simple. Grab a plastic grocery sack and place it on your wrist. Then go through the house as fast as you can collecting 27 things to throw away. You can also count giveaway items. They don't count until you have put the bag in your outside trash can or the giveaways have made it to their final destination (carrying them around in the car does not count!). You can also do this at work or in your car - we will count them all! There will be a prize for our winner.
Have you started (or restarted) you Control Journal? Remember we are to have the first 3 steps done by this Sunday. Please do not worry about it even being typed - loose leaf notebook paper is fine!!!! I started a control Journal for Chloe yesterday and she loves it! I think I will bring it Sunday night. See you all then!
I have done all but two of the closet events and now I have an almost empty closet. I was able to give two bags of clothes to RuthAnn for a family that she knows that lost everything in a fire. I guess it is time to go shopping. AUGH! I HATE SHOPPING!
I made a list of all the Olympic events and it turns out I have done about half of them. I did the downhill even yesterday (even though it was "late") and am so happy with my results. I can't remember the last time I swept my stairs, I have trying to balance the sweeper on the steps and we don't have a plug that will let you do the whole steps at once. So Flylady had suggested using a rubba-scrubba. I am not sure if she meant it for carpet, but it did a great job of getting in the edges where the sweeper never gets. 15 minutes and it was done!
So I have not been doing well on the Olympics even though I thought they sounded fun. My inner princess was whining and said that we had agreed that we were only working on our very basic routines. She really didn't want to do anything extra. So if this is you and you feel like you got behind I would challenge you to do what I am going to do - a triathlon! Go to the link and pick 3 (two if you don't have time) of the events and see how quickly you can accomplish them. I am not going to be home at all today - so I will do this tomorrow. Some of you may not make it until Saturday, it doesn't matter - you are not behind! Let's have fun!
Do you think recycling should count towards our "27 Fling Boogie Challenge"?
Welcome!
