HEllo

Glad to see more activity on the blog!  I am having a great day, we will see if it lasts.  Got up a little earlier than usual and feel ready to go.  I am going to try something new today.  Flylady calls it a scavenger hunt.  I am going to set my timer for 15 minutes, start in one room pick an item to take care of.  If it leads me to another room then the next "to do" will be in that room.  I have a lot of little things to do today and am hoping I can feel some accomplishment as well as remember to take breaks.  Happy Flying!

Who's Who

I glad to see people are starting to Blog. I usually check number of times during the day to see who blogged today. Help me keep in touch with you fly ladies. Done 3 loads of laundry today and not much of any thing else. Other then keeping the bathroom tidy and mom keeping the kitchen in order. Welcome Sandpiper who ever you are.

Hey I got back on so I guess I'm good to go. Tackling a closet of memories today. Sometimes it's hard to let things go but there are always pictures to help jog the memory. I don't need the "things". right!?!

Hey ladies, it finally let me in but didn't look like it accepted my info. I'll try to post then try starting over and see if it accepts me again. Who knows maybe I've just posted someplace strange.

Klondike

Sorry I forgot all about the meeting tonight. It been crazy her. I took a nap from 1;30 until after 5ish. Then I took Taylor to sell a couple more boxes of cookies.

This weekend was so much fun. So much warmer than last year. Remember temp '0'degrees. I did not fall in the mud so that was good. But every time we when to the bathroom I was sliding down a hill of mud. Skylar stay pretty clean. He really only got muddy doing the obstacle course they have. He wore his snowsuit. Easy cleanup. But we forgot to put on boot one time to use the bathroom so his school shoes got muddy. Will try to clean up tomorrow when they are all dry.

Looking forward to next year when I get to take two boys. I am sure I will hear it from my other two that it is not fair that Rylee gets to join. They both joined in second grade.

Timer Time

How are we doing with our timers?  I am using mine more - but still not regularly.  Is anyone interested in a fitness challenge in our group?  We will talk about it more at our meeting, this Sunday night, January 24th at 6:30.  See you then!

Going Camping

Hello ladies, I am going to Klondike this weekend with my son again. At least this year it is warmer. I am told to be prepared for the mud this time. Oh how fun. I quess there is 7 ladies going this year.

Shiny Sink

Working on shining my sink. Missed doing it last night but I am going to jump right back in and make sure it is done tonight! Janis, I am praying for you as you start your chemo.

Happy New Year Everyone!  Have you seen FlyLady's 2010 motto?  The Timer is My Friend in 2010!  Every time you think you are too tired or don't have time to accomplish a task tell your princess she only has to do 5 minutes, set the timer and mean it!  I am learning that my inner princesses is just like a child, if I am inconsistent in what I say and what I actually do (ie.  I only have to do 5 minutes and then I make her clean for 2 hours) my inner princess will turn into an inner brat! 

This is the start of a new year and the habit for the month of January is always Shining Your Sink!!!  Make this your goal for the month and time yourself - see how long it really does take to wash dishes and wipe out your sink - you may be surprised how quick it goes!  Remember the full system of bleach and scouring is only necessary if it has been a long time since you had a shiny sink.  I think it will be my goal for today!  If you would like to join me here is the link:
